You may never have heard this, but back in 1987 when Squaresoft released Final Fantasy in Japan, they were near bankrupt. That is of course, was why the game was titled Final Fantasy. This game sold well, and it's only competition was Dragon Warrior. It has a weak storyline compared to today's standards. You are out to get four crystals that were stolen. You are to retrieve them and find the source of all evil. Final Fantasy proved to be a fine game back then. Obviously, it spawned many sequels which I am sure you have played!
