This was a fairly significant title for the Snes, as it was amongst the first competent arcade translations released. On the back of a failed R-Type conversion, this action-packed Slash 'em up suffered very little in its translation from the arcade to the Snes.
Dozens of moves and a good selection of enemies mean that there is a decent gameplay factor here, with good sound effects, musical scores, and highly detailed graphics. As with most action games, however, there is a degree of repetition, and with the exception of two levels, you'll find you're doing the same walk-along-and-kill 'thing' over and over again. It is a good game, though, that you will want to complete, and will enjoy. |
